The chairman, the Department Procurement Committee on behalf of the Sri Lanka Railway Department invites sealed bids from Bidders to lease the below cited Car parks after calling tenders for a period of one year.

01. Eligibility
It will be functioned to lease the aforesaid car parks for the bidder who submits the highest bids.
02. Obtaining Bidding Applications
Bidding applications can be obtained from the RailwaySales & Marketing Division orthe Railway station in where the car park is situated on 20 in the month of November 2023 until 2.00p.m. The receipt, obtained upon payment of a non- refundable fee of Rs 2,500/= to the Chief Financial Officer in Sri Lanka Railways or the Station Master in the Railway station concerned, should be produced to the Deputy Superintendent (Sales & Marketing) or the Railway station concerned.Separate bids should be submitted for each car park cited in the schedule 01 & should be made payments for a refundable bid bond except the bidding application fee. One Bidding form is only for one car park.
03. Submission of bidding applications
The duly ,perfect application, obtained as indicated under the above 02 should be submitted marked as “original” & ”duplicate” relevantly in two sealed envelopes & enclosed both in one sealed envelope written as “Invitation for Bids for Car Parks nearby the Railway Stations” on the top left hand corner of the cover should be either sent by registered post to reach the addressChairman, Departmental Procurement Committee, Sales & Marketing Division, Railway Headquarters, Colombo 10or deposited in the Special Tender Box, kept at the official room of the Manager (Sales & Marketing)in the Railway Headquarters before 2.00 p.m on 21 in the month of November 2023 Applications,received after the due time will be rejected. Late or lost applications in post will not be considered.
04. Receipt of Bids & Opening
Bids will be opened at the Sales & Marketing Division at 2.00 p.m on 21 in the month of November 2023 as cited in the above paragraph 03 & the bidder or his authorized representative can present for this occasion.
05. Bidders are allowed to inspect the car parks, cited above prior to apply bids & the authority for this purpose should be gained from the Railway Station Concerned.
06. The Department Procurement Committee retains the right to the final decision
